A song contest for World Fish Migration Day on October 24, 2020!
An international online contest to sing your heart out to original love songs about fish and rivers!
This contest is part of World Fish Migration Day, a global event about raising awareness for migratory fish and free flowing rivers. This contest is inspired by Eurovision. Their theme "Open Up" inspired us to use this momentum for river restoration and fish migration. Showing how your #LoveFlows for rivers and fishes helps us in our goal of raising awareness for fishes and rivers. Submit your video of an original (or remixed) love song about fish and rivers to our contest and win the Happy Fish Cup and a possibility to share your song with millions of river and fish lovers around the world!

HOW TO JOIN
Rules and Inspiration
Rule 1
You can be from anywhere in the world and the song can be in your native language.
Rule 2
Upload a video of yourself, you and a friend, or a group singing a love ballad about fish and rivers.
Rule 3
Your video must be about or have a connection to rivers, fish and/or World Fish Migration Day.
Rule 4
Songs can be submitted until the 15th of October 2020.
Rule 5
From the 16th of May until October 20th the voting is opened! You can vote for your favourite song and share them with friends and family.
Rule 6
Winners will be announced on October 24th during World Fish Migration Day 2020.
A song about what?
Starting on February 14th 2020 (Valentine’s Day), upload a short video singing your love song about fish. This is a fun contest to show how #LoveFlows all around the world for fishes and rivers and we can prove it by singing our hearts out and inspiring people with our enthusiasm.
World Fish Migration Day
This contest is a part of World Fish Migration Day! World Fish Migration Day is a one-day global celebration to create awareness about the importance of migratory fish and free-flowing rivers. Many rivers and fishes are in danger across the globe and it is our job to turn the tide to better protect them! In 2018 there were 570 events in 63 countries and millions of people reached online!
How to win
Please upload your video before October 15th and we will activate it and put it on this site. To give everyone a fair chance, we are also opening up the voting on May 16th! Starting from May 16th share, share, share your video with your friends and family and have them "like" it. Voting will be closed on October 20th. At the end of the competition, the video with the most votes will automatically be placed in the top 10 videos for our judges! We judge all submissions based on creativity, lyrics, and connection to World Fish Migration Day and 9 will be selected to join the winner of the popular vote to be rated by our jury. Judges will be announced soon... The winner will receive not only world-wide recognition but also the Happy Fish Cup!
