THIRD PLACE

One of the choir members, Nico Smit (11 years) wrote the lyrics and melody and with the help of the NWCC conductor, Christelle Engelbrech, arranged the composition for the choir. The plan was to film the choir  performing the song  during  April and then submit in May for Eurofishion as per the original deadlines, but due to the Corona virus pandemic, South Africa went into lockdown and the choir could not perform as planned. But this did not stop these passionate children, so they created this virtual choir, each recorder in his/her own home. We hope this song and the dedication of the choir helps to promote healthy free flowing rivers and the Conservation of the fishes living in them.
